Located in Cambridgeshire, Murrow is a small Fenland village lying 6 miles south west of the market town of Wisbech and 8 miles north of the market town of March.
Murrow has a small Primary School, which has just been awarded Academy status, a Public House, (The Bell Inn), a small shop/newsagent and a village hall.
Just over a mile from Murrow lies the village of Parson Drove, where you will find a modern Doctor’s Surgery with pharmacy, a local butchers shop that will deliver locally sourced meat direct to your door, a small general store and three public houses that all serve food.
Both Wisbech and March are about a 15 minute drive. Both have a range of supermarkets for your weekly food shopping including Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisons. For other shopping, such as clothes, furniture etc., Peterborough has a large indoor shopping centre including major high street brands such as John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and British Home Stores. Driving time to Peterborough is approximately 30 minutes. Excellent shopping facilities can also be found in King Lynn, 24 miles away. Driving time to Kings Lynn is approximately 30 minutes.
